Gravity, Entanglement and Entropy is a one-day LMS conference bringing together leading researchers in mathematics, theoretical physics, quantum information, and cosmology to explore some of the deepest questions about the nature of the universe. The event will focus on the emerging connections between gravity, quantum entanglement, and entropy—ideas that are reshaping our understanding of spacetime, black holes, and the foundations of quantum gravity.

The conference will highlight recent advances in holography, black hole physics, quantum information theory, experimental tests of quantum gravity, and modern cosmology. As new theoretical frameworks and observational data continue to challenge established ideas, researchers are increasingly investigating whether gravity itself may emerge from fundamental information-theoretic principles.

Registration

Registration is now open for both in-person and hybrid participation. The conference fee is £30 for in-person attendance and £20 for hybrid attendance. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

As an LMS Conference, a limited number of travel and participation grants will be available to support early career researchers and researchers from Scheme 5 countries. Childcare support arrangements will also be available.
