Cancellation by us
Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University of London reserves the right to modify or cancel any event if unforeseen circumstances arise. If we cancel an event we shall inform you as soon as possible using the contact details provided to us and offer you a full refund.
Cancellation by you
All cancellations must be made in writing via email and be no less than two weeks prior to the event to receive a full refund. Any cancellations less than two weeks in advance will usually incur a full charge.
For free events, please let us know if you are not able to attend so that your place can be released to another delegate.
Sending a Delegate
Registered participants who are unable to attend the event can send a suitable delegate, but must notify Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry before the event in order to assure correct entry on attendance list and certification.
Payment for registration must be made prior to the event. If sufficient written notification of cancellation is received, a full refund will be given. If insufficient notice is given, payment for your registration will still be required.
Where only limited places are available for an event, your place is only secured once payment has been received.
By registering for an event, you have confirmed that you have read and understood our cancellation policy.
Photography, video and audio recordings
Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry events may be photographed or video and audio recorded. These materials will only be used for internal and external promotional purposes by Queen Mary University of London. If you object to appearing in the photographs, please let our photographer know on the day. Or you can email us in advance of the event that you are attending.
